Prayers for Strength to Find Comfort and Hope

Have you ever felt the need for supernatural strength to confront the situation head on, but you didn't know how to do? God is waiting to provide us with assistance in times of urgent need. Don't be afraid to pray and pray to God for strength to be on you! If you're tired, weak or unable to stand up, and you are uncertain of what you should ask, be sure to pray these phrases!

A Prayer for Strength When Weary
Lord, I'm weary. My energy level is dropping even my drive is lacking. In need of your help. I'm in need of your strength as well as your positive spirit to get me back to my feet. The Bible says that the Joy of God the Lord will be my strength. If this is true, I'm in need of your joy to restore all of the bones-tired parts of my body, mind and soul.

The pressures of life often make me fall into a corner and I am unable to make progress. There are a hundred voices calling my name and I find myself unable sometimes without being able to discern what to do. Lord Help me to not stop, and to run the race with determination and find the strength in that secure hidden place that you have beneath the protection of the Almighty.

I'm in need of your courage to refuse when I'm attracted to give in to dangerous things or when selfishness sticks onto my garments and refuses to let go. I'm in need of your courage to say yes even when fear and cowardice make me doubt what my soul is telling me to believe. I'm in need of your determination to extend you’re the love of those close to me as well as all around me. When don't I need your strength, God?

Your rock has always been there as strength and encouragement for me and I turn to you this morning, trusting that you'll lift my heavy arms, that your strength will inspire me to complete the work you've assigned me and that your happiness will completely smother the weaknesses of my existence and give me strength once more. I'm not content to remain stuck, shackled by limitations and failed efforts. I'm sick of sloppy efforts. Lord, I'd like to be able to mount with wings like an eagle, and rather than just fly. I would like to fly.

Renew my strength, God. Inspire me with your supernatural ability to conquer every challenge that comes my way. Keep my eyes on the Lord of my life, and by your side by my side I can overcome any obstacle. Thank you, Lord!

A Prayer for Strength When You're at Your Weakest
Lord Jesus Lord, grant me the strength to carry through the long haul. Not the strength that comes from grinding my teeth but the strength of glory God provides. Please help me stop trying to beat my pain and instead run with determination the race you've set for me.
